Our process from start to finish

Unsure how the process of building your dream home works? Check out our 8- step guide which takes you through the process from initial enquiry until completion.

1. Initial enquiry

We start by receiving your enquiry, we understand time is valuable and that’s why we ensure all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner. After receiving your enquiry, we will schedule a discovery call to discuss your ideas, must haves, budget and timeline to try and get a clear picture of your requirements. This step helps us align our vision with yours and gives us a better understanding of how we can best assist you.

2. On-site meeting

Our General Manager/Director Phill Bonner will meet with you in person to discuss the design of your new home. This meeting allows us to ask further questions and document any important needs and requirements you have. We ask that you bring with you any ideas, sketches, concepts or developed plans so we can start to narrow everything down and create a way forward to ensure we capture your vision accurately.

3. Design

Based on our discussions and the on-site meeting, we will present you with the initial set of plans for your new home. This marks the beginning of the design process. We work closely with you to evolve the plans and make any necessary adjustments to ensure they align perfectly with your vision.

4. Pricing

Once the final set of plans is agreed upon, we will then proceed to provide you with a detailed price estimate for your project. We will keep you up to date on this process as we engage professionals to ensure it is thorough, clear and accurate. This step ensures transparency and clarity in terms of costs and budgeting.

5. Present quote

When your quote has been finalised we will arrange a face-to-face meeting to present the detailed quote for your project. This meeting allows us to go through every aspect of the costings and address any questions or concerns you may have.

6. Acceptance, sign contract and start date

Once the quote has been accepted we will formalise and sign the contract documents and then apply for your Halo 10-year Guarantee. At this point we will agree on a start date so we can begin the process of building your dream home.

7. Construction phase

Once building consent has been granted we will begin the construction process of building your new home. We will invite you to fortnightly site meetings with Framework’s Director Phill and your site Foreman, this allows us to keep you well informed as your dream home turns from plans to reality. These meetings will also ensure that the project is running smoothly and allows us to keep ahead of any variations you may have, or changes that may be necessary. With any variations or changes we aim to promptly update any costs, budget or timelines changes that may arise so you are not surprised with any unforeseen cost changes or delays. As each stage of construction progresses we will work through our 99-point  Quality Control Checklist to ensure the end product is of the high quality we expect for all our builds.

8. Completion and handover

Once construction is complete, we will engage professional cleaners to spotlessly clean your new home, ready for you to take possession upon final payment and move in. We will sort council compliance and complete all Halo 10 Year Guarantee requirements on your behalf. Even though your house is now complete, we will keep in contact with you to tend to any minor issues that may arise.
Now you can sit back, relax and enjoy your brand new home.
